Every space has a story—and so does every client. Instead of just showing photos, this portfolio shares the why behind the design: the challenges, the vision, and the transformation. These stories highlight how we work, what inspires us, and how thoughtful design can truly change how a space feels and functions. Take a look around and see how each project came to life.

Beth & Paul

Design Assistance

As recent empty nesters, Beth and Paul found themselves at the beginning of a new chapter, ready to shift their home from the busy, kid-centered years of the past to a space that reflected who they were now. After completing a remodel and investing in new living and dining room furniture, they realized the foundation was in place—but the space still lacked soul.

They reached out looking for help with the finishing touches: the layers of art, textiles, and styling that bring cohesion, warmth, and personality to a home. Together, we curated art, throw pillows, side tables, and styled floating shelves in the living room to infuse texture and meaning.

We transformed their guestroom into a cozy, welcoming space using much of what they already owned, and gave a small entry nook new life with bold wallpaper, floating shelves, and seasonal decor.

One of the most meaningful moments of our collaboration happened while shopping together at the annual Austin Armadillo Bazaar. As we browsed, Paul paused in front of a striking piece of art— something about it clearly spoke to him. “I want this space to feel inclusive and intentional,” he said. We stood there discussing its symbolism and emotion. I encouraged him to contact the artist directly and share how deeply the piece resonated. A week later, Paul texted: they had decided to invest in the artwork and now proudly display it in their dining room. It’s become a true focal point of their home.

Throughout the process, Beth and Paul shared joyful updates as new pieces found their place. “Love these pillows and the artwork. And the tree looks great!” Beth wrote in a text that captured their growing excitement and sense of ownership. This collaboration was about more than styling—it was about helping create a home that felt intentional, expressive, and entirely their own.

Maureen F.

Room Refresh

Maureen, a systems analyst with an eye for order and simplicity, reached out with a clear goal: to make her home more inviting for renters. With classic plantation shutters, a soft green color palette, and cozy throws in the living room, the foundation was already in place—but the two bedrooms and bathroom still felt a bit too basic. “They just need something,” she said. We focused on infusing the bedrooms with warmth and personality—layering in textiles, artwork, and thoughtful styling that would make the spaces feel charming and lived-in, without being overly styled or fussy. Soft bedding, welcoming textures, and a few well-placed accents brought the rooms to life in a way that felt both elevated and approachable.

The result is a home that strikes just the right balance: cozy and clean, functional and fuss- free. It’s ready to welcome renters in—while still feeling distinctly like Maureen.

Wendi & Aron

Clarity Session

Wendi booked a Clarity Session as a thoughtful surprise for her husband, Aaron, celebrating two years of marriage and the start of a new chapter in their first home together. Though they shared a clear vision for how they wanted their space to feel— warm, intentional, and deeply personal—they felt stuck when it came to execution. The style decisions were overwhelming, and their rooms weren’t coming together in a way that reflected their lifestyle or flowed with ease.

They reached out for expert guidance to bring their ideas into alignment and turn their vision into a cohesive design plan. We focused on four key areas: the living room, the main bedroom, the guest bathroom (Aaron’s retreat), and the flexible office/guest room. They already had many foundational pieces in place, but they struggled to connect the dots in a way that felt harmonious.

Our session was a true collaboration. One of the highlights was designing the main bedroom, where we explored color palettes and textures to create a mood that was both intimate and expressive of their evolving relationship. Their openness and trust allowed us to craft a space that not only looked beautiful but also supported the connection and energy they wanted to invite into their home.

Olivia & Chris

Design Assistance & Installation / Styling

Olivia and Chris’s love story unfolded at lightning speed—in under a year, they met, married, bought their first home, and welcomed their first child. Amidst all the beautiful change, they remained deeply intentional about how their home could support their new life together. Both working remotely, they dreamed of a shared workspace at the heart of the home—one that could foster creativity and connection while remaining practical and polished.

We transformed the playroom to create a co-working retreat designed for focus and flow. Olivia wanted the space to reflect Chris’s creative energy and personal style, while still being professional enough for her daily video calls.

We leaned into a deep, dramatic blue on the walls—Chris’s one non-negotiable—to ground the space and inspire bold thinking. Thoughtful details like sci-fi-inspired artwork (a nod to his favorite genre) and a large whiteboard for brainstorming sessions helped bring his vision to life. The result? A space that’s both stylish and deeply personal—perfect for productivity and functionality.

“I didn’t expect to love the space as much as I do. I thought prioritizing Chris’s style
would mean I wouldn’t feel as connected to the room but I absolutely love working in
here daily.” - Olivia

As their toddler grew more curious and independent, Olivia and Chris also wanted to reimagine his nursery into a room that encouraged safe, confident exploration. We focused on creating a space that was as nurturing and calming as it was fun and functional, giving their little one a sense of freedom and belonging from the very start.

Mary P.

Design Assistance & Installation / Styling

After the loss of her partner, Mary reached out with a
desire to make her house feel like home again. What began as a simple question about paint colors unfolded into a full transformation of her living room, dining room, and entryway. She was ready to create a space that reflected who she is now —one that felt free-spirited yet grounded.

Mary’s vision was clear: a home that felt evolved and authentic, where warmth, softness, and joy could be felt in every corner. As a proud grandmother of eleven, she also wanted her home to be welcoming—a place where little feet could run barefoot and grown-ups could gather with ease and comfort.

We began by building a color palette inspired by a rug she loved, using it as a foundation for everything that followed. From there, we guided her in sourcing artwork that felt personal and meaningful. Layer by layer, the space came to life with thoughtful furniture, inviting textures, and accessories that reflected her vibrant spirit and the many stories her home holds.

The result is a home that feels open, nurturing, and beautifully her—a space that honors her past while embracing everything she is becoming.

Erika W.

Room Refresh

Erika reached out with a clear vision: her fully furnished short-term rental in Austin had great bones, but it needed a little something extra to truly shine. She wasn’t looking for a full overhaul—just a thoughtful refresh to help the space stand out and feel more inviting to future guests.

Her goal was to elevate what was already there with smart, impactful updates—adding visual interest and personality without big furniture purchases. Together, we focused on styling touches that would catch the eye in photos and feel welcoming in person: layered rugs for warmth, art that added character, and select paint and wallpaper moments to bring depth and
charm to the space.

With every choice, we considered durability, flexibility, and style—curating pieces that enhanced the existing furnishings and gave the rental a fresh, cohesive look.

Now, the space feels vibrant and thoughtfully designed, with just the right mix of personality and polish to make it stand out in a competitive market—ready to welcome guests with style and comfort.
